Hue Hopper
Hue Hopper on papa.fun is a beautiful infinite arcade game about chasing the right color through a drifting field of glowing circles. You move an eye-shaped catcher through falling hues, trying to collect only the target color while the whole palette keeps shifting underneath you.

How Hue Hopper works
Hue Hopper drops soft, glowing circles from the top of the screen in coordinated color families. At the top of the interface, one hue is marked as the target. Your job is to move through the storm and catch only that color. Catch the wrong hue too often and the run ends.
What makes Hue Hopper different
This is not a harsh neon reflex game. The whole point is flow. The circles are beautiful, the palette is constantly changing, the catcher leaves a glowing trail, and the movement is smooth on both keyboard and mobile joystick. It is meant to feel like you are swimming through a living painting while still staying sharp enough to make the right catch.
Controls in Hue Hopper
- On desktop, move with arrow keys or WASD.
- On mobile, drag the joystick in the lower corner.
- Keep your eye on the target color chip at the top before diving into a cluster.
Why Hue Hopper stays fun
The game is endless, but the palette shifts keep it fresh. Just when you adapt to one set of hues, the next pattern rolls in and changes the emotional feel of the whole screen. That constant change makes Hue Hopper feel more alive than a standard survival game.
